Fast and delicious pizza!!! Walked in by chance and was greeted with An amazing smell and great service. Wish they had a slice option but it's okay that they don't. Accommodated my wish for a bit more well done for the pizza. Would recommend an outside seating area!

Ain't no Round Table, but it's definitely better than Dominos! This is not a sit-down pizza parlor, solely a take-out pizza joint. I love that the pizza here is not very oily and there are no shortage of toppings on the Porky's Special combo. I actually had good experience with the customer service here, contrary to what many of the reviews state on here. Apparently they serve slices too... but you have got to specially request it because it's not on the menu.

This was the first meal we ate at our new place in Long Beach - after moving and unpacking we thought we'd try some local pizza. Disappointment! Disappointment! It just wasn't that good and the dough tasted a bit off. I really have nothing else to say about this pizza or experience. We ordered and picked it up - that was easy. But the taste was just not there. Haven't gone back since.

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm so disappointed in this establishment. We've ordered here for so long and tonight ended it all. We were charged $10 extra bucks for something we didn't order. We called back and the "owner" was so rude. He asked who I banked with, trying to battle me. I told him to come over and look at my bank account. And he showed up! He did apologize and tried to give us cash. This situation could have been resolved with an explanation of how the refund works and that it would just be it: We spoke with 3 different confused folks. We're super bummed too. They have the best pizza. Unfortunately we'll never order here again. We're still creeped out that the dude showed up on our front porch all shakey hands.

Horrible customer service. I called in for delivery and the person I spoke to informed me that I have to be over 18 to order pizza and I told him I'm 21 (my voice is quite high). He quickly gave the phone to his so called manager, who then asked me if they can speak to a "male who is 18+." Are you fucking kidding me?

I wanted to like their pizza, because of the over the phone great customer service as well as the yelpers really sold it to me. But unfortunately this pizza is no where near my top choice. Lacked sauce, crust was very thick, and everything else was just - well ingredients. Nothing popped and dazzled my taste buds. Sorry Porky's, I'm just not that into you.

This was my first time trying this place. I always look at Yelp since I am still fairly new to the area. I was on my way to Trader Joes and thought I'd share my experience with this place when I ordered for pick-up. I ordered a medium thick crust sweet & spicy (pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, crushed red peppers, and added mushrooms but put the crushed red peppers on the side.) It was amazing and very tasty! The crust was perfect, just the right amount of pizza like he said there would be, it wasn't soggy in the middle at all, and cooked all the way through. They were friendly on phone, very helpful since I hadn't ordered from them before. Answered my questions, and when I went to pick up they were friendly as well and appreciated me trying the place out and hoped I will return. And I will return the pizza was great as well as the service. :)

I had Porky's for the first time when I ordered it for Super Bowl Sunday and I enjoyed it-- if I could I would give this spot a 3.5. The bbq chicken pizza was a big hit and everyone was grabbing for that so if you're ordering for a group it's sure to please! I enjoyed the pizza but wish the crust had a little more oomph.

While shopping at Trader Joes the urge for pizza begin to slowly tell me to pull my phone out and look for pizza spots near the area! Low and behold, Porky was 4 minutes away and already bookmarked so I knew what I had to do! Got the pick up special which was 1 xL pizza with 1 topping for 13.99. Of couse I had to add mushrooms which was an additional 2 bucks. The pizza was good aka decent. We were parked in the front of the shop and the cashier brought the pizza right out to the car which was a nice gesture....but back to the pizza. I have had better I must say that but it's something to try and if u get hit with a mean pizza urge and are in the surrounding area, give Porkys a try.

This is my favorite pizza! Hawaiian is my favorite followed by chicken and spinach. The Italian Antipasto Salad is great too! Our go to Friday night pizza place.

I was so happy to stumble upon this cute little pizza shop located in the heart of Bixby Knolls. Its in such a beautiful area and the food here is AMAZING. By far, the best pizza I've ever tasted. My husband is a chef and he has really high expectations when it comes to food and this place definitely hit the spot. It's our new go to place for BBQ chicken pizza with jalapeños! Oh, and their garlic knots are to DIE for. (Don't forget to ask for the garlic butter sauce to dip it in... Yumm!) And not to mention, great customer service too. The staff is super friendly and they're so fast! We never have to wait long. LOVE IT!

The pizza here is great. I always do the pick up since we live so close. They have the family special I think it's 40 bucks for a large pizza large drink salad and some kind of bread garlic or cinnamon. It is all good minus the salad. I'm not a fan of rather make it myself at home. Oh and wings are great too!

  • Sothea M.

First time having pizza from here and I must say, I'm pretty impress! I ordered the family meal which consist of an extra large two topping pizza, salad and 2 liter soda. The pizza I chose was pepperoni and sausage which was big enough to feed a family of four and it was very flavorful. I'm always a fan of small pizza shops and I will be ordering from them again.

For the last few years I've order pizza for delivery from Porky's. I considered myself a loyal customer and a champion of theirs as when new friends would move into the neighborhood, I would always recommend Porky's for pizza. About two months ago I ordered a pizza and moments after placing the order my wife called and told me she picked up dinner. I immediately called Porky's to see if it was too late to cancel. The women who originally took my order informed it was not too late and there was no problem. This was on par with the customer service I've come to appreciate about Porky's. Turns out, this was a problem, a big problem Last Friday I had family in town and I called to order a pizza from Porky's. I gave my telephone number and employee informed me that I'm outside of their delivery area. I told him I've been ordering delivery from Porky's over the last few years with no issue. The employee then asked if I had previously ordered a pizza and then cancelled the order. Yes, he actually said this to me. I asked if I needed to explain the circumstances again and if I was being punished. He told me they have been delivering to me as a courtesy but could no longer do it. I just called Porky's to confirm the delivery policy in terms of miles from establishment; the employee told me it was 3 miles. I am 2.5 miles from door to door. Thank you Porky's for the years of service but customers beware... if you cross them, they will cut you out.

HALF OF OUR PIZZA WAS STUCK TO THE BOX!!! I need to point out that the 3 stars are only for the pizza we ordered last night. In general I would give Porky's 5 stars. Last night we ordered the "family special" that includes an extra large 2 topping pizza, a large salad ( you can choose from 3) and a 2 liter soda. We always get pepperoni and mushrooms with the parmesan crust and the grilled chicken salad. The pizza is always great and the salad fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken they put on it is fantastically flavorful. We were starving and literally waiting by the door for it to arrive. It was quickly delivered and I took it right to the kitchen, opened the box and...it was SMASHED and the cheese and toppings were glued to the box!!! This has never happened before and I was so disappointed. I tried to quickly scrape the cheese/toppings off the box but that didn't quite work. Cardboard does not taste as good as you would think! So sad :(!

Best pizza in Bixby Knolls. Their crust is really good enough to eat. It's rare that I will eat tpizza crust, unless it's covered in cheese, but I always eat their crust. Love Porkys pizza..

Less Greasy or oily than a lot of other pizza places out there. That's excellent for those that hate greasy pizza when you're eating it. Not here, it's hardly greasy at all, if any. Price wise, you get what you pay for. Quality is #1 here. Food Costs has to be passed on to someone for them to stay in business. I've been ordering here for years now and they hardly ever disappoint me. Got the extra large BBQ pizza today and it was delicious. Practically almost finished it all. Would Recommend this place to anyone from out of town or looking for a quality pizza that won't break the bank to go to.

This was our first time trying this joint. I grew up north in the bayarea and since i was a child there was a pizza joint the had the similar name and i grew to love that place. Since I've moved to Socal I've been missing that place so one day as i was driving i saw this place and i wondered if they were ran by the same person. You were not unfortunately but i tried your pizza today and it blew me out of my shoes. I love the parmesan crust it was perfectly baked it was delish. We ordered the family feast it came with a salad and a 2 liter drink and 2 topping x-tra large pizza (pepperoni and mushrooms) I'm very happy i think we will be regulars now i just wish you had more appetizer selctions pasta and fried chicken.

  • Kaylie A.

I'm giving a five stars because the man who answered the phone was exceptionally polite and nice. He asked all the right questions was extremely helpful. He told me to get porkys special , because what I want is similar and it would be at a better cost. Pizza was great and the garlic knots are to die for! Yes yes yes!

  • Michael D.

Great pizza in Bixby Knolls. Their crust is great. Chewy but not tough. Nice and moist without being greasy. The porky's special xl is what we usually get minus the olives and sub in artichoke hearts. The staff is pretty friendly too.

Greatest pizza ever! I have been coming here since I was in middle school. Great service and great pizza! I live in Downey now and I still go there to get pizza. The employees are friendly and know me there. It's not expensive at all. I wish there was one closer to Downey. Keep up the great work at this place!

Fast delivery and oh my God the pizza is so good!! Recommended and also don't forget the cinna knots!!

  • Kim H.

Ordered the same thin crust veggie pizza which was awesome again. This time we decided to add the Buffalo wings and were not disappointed. The large wings were nice and crispy and not at all greasy. The BF usually doesn't care for wings but he can't stop talking about these. More reason to keep ordering from Porky's.

I generally try to avoid leaving bad reviews, but my experience left me in shock. We've ordered pickup from this establishment several times without any issue, but tonight we thought we would see if we could order some as delivery. I called and spoke to an employee who told me that they delivered to about a three mile radius. When he set the phone down to check if our address was within that radius, I heard him say the wrong address. He informed us that they could not deliver to our area and I told him we would figure our order and call back for pickup. A short time later, we called back to place our order and asked if we could double-check if they delivered to our address. The phone was handed to a manager who told us that "although our address is within a three mile radius, there are some areas they just don't drive to-like the Carmelitos." We don't live anywhere near the Carmelitos. He was basically saying "we don't go to the ghetto." We were not being argumentative or hostile, whatsoever. We were just curious and would have totally been happy to pick up our order, but before we could even respond, the manager hung up on us. I'm sad to say that I will never give this place my business again.

Pizza is really good, just wish they offered a thin crust. We usually do pick up because the delivery charges are on the higher side. Street parking is available which kind of sucks. Garlic knots are amazing and salads are good too.

Ordered, "The Feast" And it was delicious. A half pepperoni half veggie pizza (NO extra charge), 10 wings, a box FULL of garlic knots, and a Coke

Porky's is our regular stop during First Fridays. They sell slices outside for $1 each, which is a pretty decent quick deal for some pretty decent pizza, especially considering it's already made. I have friends who are in love with Porky's. While I think they make a pretty solid pie, it's not my absolute favorite. The garlic knots and cinna knots are kind of addicting, but are only good when they are super fresh. It's not the tastiest, it's not the cheapest, and the employees aren't the friendliest out there, but overall it's a pretty solid pizza place. While it's a chain, it's a smaller chain, so it's a refreshing change from the large corporate pizza shops.

  • Anila A.

Great pizza, very accommodating and amazing garlic knots. Everytime I call the people on the other line are very helpful and friendly. They always meet the delivery time and the pizza is always right. I'm always calling when I need a pizza fix.

Thought this would be a great place to order forgot a birthday party we were having. I ordered two things of wings, four pizzas, salad and garlic knots. Our two speciality pizza the BBQ chicken and then a Canadian bacon and onion tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for hours! They were both terrible!!! At least the pepperoni and the cheese pizza actually was hot right out of the oven. Ugh and the wings were pretty bad also kinda soggy and cold! I called the next day just to say how bad it was and both workers I talked to were soooo rude!! They said they have never ever had a costumer call the next day and that if we brought in the left over pizza he would exchange it! Really?? I spend about $100 on the worst pizza and u tell me to bring in the unused portion? Wow!! I should have called papa johns! Pretty terrible costumer service

  • Rose W.

First of all, let me say to anyone who reviewed the pizza negatively: if you tried it without the cheese blanket, you did it wrong and your review is invalid. I know it seems absurd to pay almost $2 extra, but it's so garlicky and cheesy and amazing that it's absolutely worth it. I got pepperoni and pineapple, plus a cheese blanket, and it was perfect with a little red pepper sprinkled on. The crust was a little bland, I agree, but not too thick or chewy at all for my taste. I also got the antipasto salad, which was very good but sort of standard. I wish they had their own dressing for it, instead of the two store-bought packets taped to the top. Not over the moon about it, but there was nothing wrong with it either, so at least they have good taste in store-bought (unfortunately not universal with LB pizza joints). Be warned, the Yelp menu link currently goes to something outdated, and prices have been raised-- visit the website proper and click through on their links. I let the guy on the phone know, so hopefully that'll get fixed. Next time: the garlic knots!

My boyfriend and I tried this place on Sunday evening after my boss recommended it. I had had a migraine since the evening before and had not eaten hardly anything. I wanted to get out of the house because I'd spent all day in bed nursing my headache so we drove around and suddenly I realized I was starving. On a whim we decided to backtrack to Porky's since my apartment is in Bixby Knolls and we would be close. The place is not much to look at. We thought we might eat there, but upon walking inside we knew that it wouldn't be possible, which was fine because we rented a movie and still needed to watch it, and what better way to watch a movie than with pizza? We ordered The Fear, a cheesy masterpiece decked in sweet white onions, spicy jalapenos, plump sausage, and pepperoni. Just the smell of it in the car on the way back to my place made my mouth water. I could not even comprehend the treat I was in for. My head was still pounding when we sat down to eat and put Madagascar 3 on the television. We got the x-large because, although we ordered the large, the girl at the register said it would be cheaper to get the x-large. I couldn't believe my appetite as soon as I started eating. I stuffed myself with three huge pieces before I called it quits. There was enough to have cold pizza for breakfast, which I LOVE. I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be going back.

Looooove their pizza! The Parmesan crust makes any pizza amazing! By far our favorite pizza we have found since relocating to long beach!

Porky's Pizza is the best pizza in Long Beach. The staff is very friendly and quick. The pizza arrives very warm and delicious. The ingridients taste fresh. Pizza is not too oily but not dry.

I have one golden rule on Yelp: If I patronize a business often, then it's automatically a 5 star place. Porky's is one of those businesses that I will always visit when the urge for pizza strikes. Although a Papa John's is within reasonable proximity, I refuse to settle for your run-of-the-mill, corporate, hastily done, overly greasy pizza. With Porky's you can actually taste the freshness and feel confident that the pizza was prepared with care. I'm always amazed that after finishing the pizza, the box has such few grease spots. Niice! The staff is very nice and they're always accommodating for extras like peperchinis or paper plates. My usual order consists of a thin pizza with ground beef and hot wings. Oh, and if you're not watching your carbs, do yourself a favor and get some of those garlic knots. Your breath may be offensive, but your taste buds and belly will be oh so happy! Here's to many more years, Porky's!

  • Paul S.

So, I've revisited Porky's over the last few weeks. They have reaffirmed their status as a great thin crust pizza place in Long Beach. I had a bad experience one time, but many good places can be off of their game every now and then. I'll keep Porky's in mind when pizza is also on my mind.

  • Juan G.

This pizza is too good! Love everything they have on their menu. My wife and kids can't get enough of the garlic knots. The service is good and the staff is real and friendly! In my humble opinion, best pizza in town!

  • Takin K.

Great pizza! We've ordered from here at least 10 times and it's consistently good. I mean, it's not gonna blow your mind, but it's very good and very consistent. It's also nice to support a local business.

This is our dinner stop on first Fridays, they do a great job. I expected the pizza to be cold and soggy...no way, the pizza was hot and delicious. May have to get a pie here to try them on another occasion other than First Fridays.

The family was tired of Thanksgiving leftovers so we decided to try Porky's we all agreed to try the Sweet & Spicy it was delicious. The Cesar salad was very fresh. My family and I agreed this is our new go to spot for pizza.

5 stars for their awesome wings! These things are large, tender and juicy! Get them well done.

  • Nicole M.

After trying outrageously priced Me n Eds, and cheap-o Papa Johns, Porkys is literally a slice of pizza heaven. Four stars only because it's better than the local competition. Still great but not the greatest.

  • Quinlan F.

I like Porky's Pizza It looks, taste, and smell like pizza. Nothing unexpected just pizza. I do not like the wings or salad.....but the pizza is good. I guess that's why it isn't called Porky's Wings and Salad

    (4)
  • Sarah C.

Since I've lived in the Bixby area, Porky's has been the place for Pizza. Nevermind that there are all the big chains here. I've gotten to be so spoiled by the taste and quality at Porky's. The salads are huge and super fresh, not to mention that all their topping choices are awesome. Seriously, trying artichoke hearts on my pizza has changed my life.

    (5)
  • Fernando A.

Really good pizza. A little more expensive than your typical pizza chain joint, but well worth the extra cost. I used to fret at paying the extra dough, but after years of eating here I now know that it is money well spent every time. The 5 stars is given because of the excellent customer service. The staff is very friendly and you can just tell they aren't trained with a corporate manual on how to be a mindless employee. In fact, this is the first establishment that I actually called to give my compliments to the owner.

By far, the best garlic knots and marinara dipping sauce! I used to work down the street and my co-workers and I would order these for lunch. They are so nice and friendly, so stop in and try them out!

I have tried many a pizzas. Sure you could go to some chain for a cheap pizza but this place is a local gem! I will start by saying that when you call they are clear and concise on the phone but more than that they are helpful. Went in to pick up the pizza we ordered and while we were there we ended up ordering more food! The Pizza we got was 1/2 all meat and 1/2 sweet & spicy. We also ordered the garlic knots and the antipasto salad. EVERYTHING we ordered was AHHH MAAYY ZIINNG. Not only that the workers were nice and hard working. On one hand i am so happy i found this place but on the other hand I am sad i did because i know i will be back for more lol. If i had a complaint it would be that they are kind of on the pricier side, however the quality of the food and the business itself is worth it!

  • Avon T.

Meh.....not great but not bad.....but a bit expensive. Pizza was a little dull....nothing to rave about. Cheese and sauce was a bit skimpy for my taste. Medium pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and an order of garlic knots.....$21???? Probably will stick with Pizza Hut from now on.

    (2)
  • Chris J.

It's close, it's inexpensive and my dad buys, so it's workable. What they don't do is split orders; my mom isn't a carnivore like the rest of us, so it's veggie for her. Porky's won't do like 1/4 veggie and 3/4 pepperoni. They might do it now, but I called in an order and the attendant told me "we don't do that". Pizza itself is fair and quality is generally uniform. Not "OMG this shit is the bomb!" or "OMG this is shit!" but workable. Porky's gets the third star for the breadsticks, but how can you really screw up on butter-drenched parmessan-covered transfatty goodness? Also, whoever is in charge of their publishing area, the magnetized menus are a nice touch.

Wowwwww, I have lived in Bixby for 4 1/2 years and never thought this place would be so gooood!! I was craving pizza but decided to try their cesar salad with garlic knots and I must say those garlic knots are the businessssssssss.........I took the rest with me to work the next day and my staff hounded me to order them some pizza and garlic knots from this place, but the distance from Bixby to Redondo Beach was a bit much. Overall the place is great and the staff and owner are truly nice. It's made fresh to order

I used to work in an office very close to Porky's and had a boss that liked to order in rather than give people an actual lunch break. So, I ate a LOT of Porky's Pizza in my almost 2 year tenure at that job. The garlic twists are really good. As for the pizza - it's ok. Not terrible (but then, pizza is a lot like sex. Even bad pizza is still pretty good) but not great either. The cheese is good, the sauce is ok, but the crust tended to be a little under-done which I don't like. I don't think that I would go out of my way to get Porky's again, but I also wouldn't be mad if I were at a party or something and someone ordered it.

  • Matthew G.

Porky's Pizza, cute name huh? I placed an order last night, I chose to pick it up rather than have it delivered (so I could check out their kitchen). I walked into Porky's and was very impressed by the level of cleanliness, floors and counters were spotless. A big plus knowing your food is coming out a clean kitchen. So the food... Pizza: Crust is slightly yeasty, tasty, good thickness, good chew. Sauce: Could use some work, very basic. Cheese and Toppings: Excellent. Top marks for Porky's Garlic Knots, excellent little bites of garlicky goodness. Chicken wing are good as well. Caeser Salad: Excellent. I will return and/or have Porky's deliver. Good people over there!

The customer service here rocks! Yeah, so I don't know what I'm doing calling to place a late night pizza. I'm too cozy at home, just ate an unsatisfying meal (tasted good, am still hungry). So I call Porky's because it's fast and easy and I just like their plain cheese medium pizza. And it's cheap. So last time I ordered this, they forgot to bring my ranch dressing. Will update on the taste test results of this ranch. So this time I called, I ordered the same thing, added that last time they forgot the ranch so I hope you don't forget it this time... Hang up. I call back 10 minutes later because NOW I have a sweet tooth and something cinnamoney would be fantastic. I don't care. I want it. I call back, ask Chris what they have for dessert. Cinnamon Knots. I said "I'm in! How much" Chris says: "Well, since we forgot your ranch last time, we were going to throw in some Garlic Knots but we will sub instead with the Cinnamon Knots. We try to make up for mistakes" Me: "Awesome. You guys rock". So now I'm like really excited. Although, now hrm. I've heard the garlic knots are reallly good......Hope they forget my ranch again. :D ***update: all items arrived, even more awesome than i remembered and the cinnamon knots are off the charts goood. and the ranch, while coming in a suspicious plastic container, was suprisingly VERY GOOD.

Had Porky's again last night with the rug rats and friends and enjoyed it. I tried their garlic knots, for the first time, and those are down right yummy. I mean, garlic, butter, bread and Parmesan, how can you go wrong?

  • Crystal S.

My fiance's neverending quest to find the most delicious pizza in Long Beach led us to Porky's last night... We ordered the extra large Carry out special of a one topping pizza for $12.99, and an order of garlic knots. Let me tell ya, I was not blown away... but on the other hand, I definitely didn't have any problem polishing off a few pieces last night as well as few more this morning for breakfast... The peperoni was nothing special, but the sauce was actually pretty good... kindof sweet, garlicy, and full of oregeno, and there was plenty of it on the pizza. I love extra sauce! The cheese wasn't an overwhelming greasy river of goo, thank you for that... no need to "over cheese" a pizza in my opinion. Also, the pizza wasn't overcooked, which I'm seeing more and more these days and which completely irks me. There is nothing worse than burnt cheese. Also, the garlic knots are very tasty but need just a bit more garlic and butter next time. So all in all, I did not mind this place at all but there are a few other places in town which I believe offer a better value. However, to be fair I have only tried a peperoni pizza. Perhaps I will pay this place at least one more visit and try their veggie or works pizza... will update this revue when I do. For now though, I would definitely recommend this place I just think that it's alittle bit pricey for the type of no frills pizza that you get.

Went here for the first time last week. Called ahead to ask if they had any specials and the guy on the other end was really helpful. Told him it was my first time going there and asked him about their favorites. We ordered a half pepperoni and Canadian bacon and a half vegetarian. When I got there I asked about their Garlic Knots and he told me that he put a few in a bag for me since it was my first time. Went home and tried the Garlic Knots, they were great! They were so good! The Marinara sauce was so flavorful and great! The knots were super buttery and tasty. Definitely not a health food or for the meek! The pizza was just as good. The sauce on the Pizza was great. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The pepperoni and Canadian Bacon side was great but the Vegetarian side was even better! The Bell Peppers were crisp and everything else went great together. The leftovers the next day tasted even better! When I get the craving for some pizza, this place will definitely be on my short list from now on! Great Pizza, Great Garlic Knots, and great people that work there!

Ridiculously inconsistent. I've ordered countless times, as have my neighbors but I still often get told I'm "outside their range." The food is either fantastic or horrendously bland but to be so wishy washy isn't just obnoxious but lost them a long term customer. I /just/ saw their delivery car out here yesterday so I'm not only frustrated - i'm done.

~You stroll in off the street, greeted by a black-and-white tile motif and a cozy seating area. The space is open and inviting, with a large bay window that brightens up the atmosphere considerably. Everything is clean and tidy. A kind voice calls out, "Hi, are you here for a pick up," and yet you hardly comprehend the question, more taken by the crispy pizzas sitting on a stainless steel table and emanating all sorts of potent, succulent smells to tantalize the senses. Your eyes flit upwards, spotting a wall-mounted high-definition television and then finally you realize, heaven is not quite so far away as death. The kind voice calls out again, "Sir?"~ That is what it is like walking into Porky's Pizza. I've gone many, many times and its always been well kept and staffed with good-natured folks who tend to be very patient--I tend to take a long while to decide my toppings. When you find that they, unlike some pizza chains, have toppings like artichoke hearts, salami, pepperocinis you'll understand why it takes so long to decide. I pride myself on being somewhat of a pizza connoisseur after having worked at an independent shop in Anaheim, CA for many years, and as such I NEEDED to find a place in North Long Beach to suit my very particular palette. Porky's did that and more. The first pizza specialties I had to try there were their 'Sweet and Spicy'--a delightful combination of pepperoni, quality sausage, pineapple tidbits, parmesan, and red peppers--and 'The Fear'--pepperoni, sausage, onions, and jalepenos--which were both delightful. They also have very full salads (though I've only had the antipasto and caesar) which are always fresh and crisp, but unfortunately they come with prepackaged dressings. My only qualms with this place and reasons for not granting five stars are that there is no public restroom, it is sometimes difficult to find parking, and the prices are beyond the average pizza joints, but then again you get what you pay for and it can be offset with many of their everyday deals. I highly recommend that if you live in the area and love pizza the way I do that you rush out to Porky's Pizza or give them a call. It's delicious!!!

This place is right down the street from my house, which automatically gives it a star. The pizza is so-so (basic dough, sauce and toppings) but the buffalo wings (which they throw in extra celery for vegetarians like me) are my husbands favorite. They also have a kick a&& cinnamon, glazed dippers with mouth watering vanilla icing! Go get the dippers, even if you do not want pizza..they are truly worth it!

First of all the pizza is delicious. That being said you get what you pay for so of course this pizza is a bit more expensive then your typical dominos or papa johns pizza. Oh and the garlic knots are orgasmic ;-)

My wife and I go often. The best pizza place I've tried so far in LB. We love the garlic knots. Only complaint was their pizza titled "The Fear". I wish it was hotter. :)

They are OK, not bad, not great. I stop by occasionally on First Fridays. Z Pizza is better, but these guys aren't bad.

Oh yum! That's what describes this place. Been driving past this place for a while now on my way to work. I tend to find more independant type restaurants interesting and better... better food, better service. I'm not sure how indy this place is considering there are 9 throughout SoCal but thought I'd try it out and OMG! I'll be ordering from this place ALOT! We ordereded a medium and was so indecisive but the counter dude was quite patient and even gave us free toppings and free garlic knots! Yahoo! I've been craving those knots ever since I tried them. They are just soo good! Only bad thing... there's not one near my house. Maybe that'll be incentive to enjoy going to work more. LOL.

I had their pepperoni pizza and I wasn't really expecting much because the yelp reviews were not impressive but it's a walking distance from my house so I decided to give it a try. Boy, was I surprised! It's the best pepperoni pizza I've had. And mind you, my family has pizza nights every Friday so I've had my share of pizzas. I'll try their other pizza in the next few weeks so I'll keep you posted :)

If you hate flavor you'll love this place. The sauce amounts to nothing. The crust is just an excuse to be there. Seriously... you could make any kind of pizza you want, and this is what you came up with? Say to yourself: "Am i boring?" If the answer is "Yes", place a phone call to Porky's straightaway.

We live near Porky's so it is on our rotation for pizza night. I like Porky's pies, the only issue I have is they do not put the toppings and sauce to the edge of the pizza, the crust is too wide for my taste, but that won't stop us from ordering from Porky's again.

Porky's has some very tasty pizza pies. When they deliver they are always prompt. They make awesome garlic knots and cinnamon knots. Porky's is just a good all around pizzeria. It's better to support this local pizza place rather than Pizza Hut/ Papa John's/ Domino's.

BEST PIZZA EVER....After eating this pizza I can never eat at any other place...The service there is great and they have many good looking people working there which is a plus...Everything is amazing with the pizza, the huge salads and the tasty garlic knots. Everyone working there is so nice...as soon as you walk in you are greeted very nicely...I like to take my kids in and let them watch the workers make the pizza. All i got to say is Dominos, Pizza Hut and Papa Johns have nothing on Porky's Pizza...I would recommend it to anybody because they will make the pizza just the way you like it!!!

After years of pizza eating, this is the only pizza place I will order from now. I discovered my love for it after having a negative experience at Red Brick. My fella and I were hungry for pizza but weren't in the mood to take our chances with Red Brick. He said Costco, I said nah. He said Papa John's, I said no thanks. We remembered we'd seen that Porky's place around the corner. We looked online. Saw the site. Saw the menu. Tried the Sweet & Spicy pizza which combines our favorite things in one delicious pizza. It blew our minds! We loved it so much, we ordered it again the next weekend. Then the next weekend, we ordered again but tried the veggie pizza. We thought our minds were blown before but the veggie pizza is TOPS. Loaded with crisp, fresh veggies. Thick, doughy crust (which we love). Tasty sauce. Perfect amounts of cheese. Super quick delivery! Porky's has become our Sunday night tradition. We order our veggie pizza, sip some Coke out of our Coke glasses and watch FOX or a movie then have a bath. I really could not imagine Porky's not being apart of our awesome, cozy Cal Heights/Bixby home and sweet traditions.

Never Ever Again! This place sounded like a good place based on the reviews but I got more than I bargained for. The pizza looked good, but tasted ok with very little flavor. I ordered the 2 med. 1 topping (one Pepperoni and one sausage) And since so many people had great things to say about the garlic knots, i tried those too. They came in 45 min. even though I live 2 major streets away from them and the whole thing cost me $30 (including tip) $27 something for the order. My daughter and my son ate 1 slice of the sausage and I ate 1 slice of each. my daughter and I ate some garlic knots which were pretty good but not great! When my hubby came home, he didn't feel like eating so we saved it in the fridge for the AM. (who doesn't love cold pizza in the morning?) We sat down to watch The Fighter(great movie BTW) and in the last 30min. My stomach felt funny. UhOh I had things coming out from either end and it was not cute! Felt like crap and looked it AND I didn't get to see the end of the movie. The kids were asleep but sure enough my daughter woke up 3 hours later to endure the same as me. 1st thing in the morning I took out the trash from the bathroom and threw it with the Pizza and garlic knots. I spared my hubby and next time I'll just take a drive and get Costco pizza for $10 (it's better on our wallet, our tastebuds, and our stomachs)

I remember being excited when this place opened up cause I was living in the area and more pizza More Pizza MORE PIZZA! oh what a dissapointment. Their crust was cardboard spread with tomato paste and cheese that tastes like it has plasticizers in it to make it stretch. big boo.

I've been looking for a decent pizza place in my neighborhood and I think I've finally found it. Red Brick is good but too fancy for an "everyday" pizza joint. Papa John's is simple enough but the one near me has the worst service ever. Some of the local places I've tried have been okay but not good enough to keep me coming back. Porky's is nice because it's cheap and simple, for those nights you just want to order a pizza and eat it at home in front of the TV. The pizza is good, not great, but good, good enough to keep me coming back. The service is great - the first time we came here the guy behind the counter had some good suggestions for us (we were indecisive about toppings) and ended up getting us a discount. It was a quick, easy transaction, which is what I like with takeout food. They also have free delivery, if you don't feel like leaving your house at all. This place just opened, but I hope it sticks around for a while, because I will definitely be coming here again.
